DFW # 1 - Remembering David Foster Wallace
Theatre Time 19 and 20 March 21.00-Parma-
input free. For further information: Teatro del Tempo, 0521.386553 teatrodeltempo@libero.it A conference show to remember David Foster Wallace, American writer of the cult who died in September 2008 to just over forty years.
With the help of some guests and artists will attempt to transmit and to enjoy the public which does not yet know Wallace (but also to those who know him already!), his unique style full of intertextual references and notes, but tangled in a sense quasi-scientific at the same time will provide an opportunity to reflect on contemporary art form. It 'true that Wallace's writing is deeply imbued with the "liquidity" that attaches to our contemporary Baumann and postmodernism in general, and his writing-and seemingly convoluted maze-emerge a clear, lucid and compassionate vision of our society. Speakers during the evening: Alberto Reggianini (painter), Sara Fallini (psychologist), Vincenzo Pellegrino (an anthropologist), John Ronchini (Professor of Letters) Ilaria Dazzi (essayist, writer) Cleofas DIOM (poet). He will lead the evening Camattini Francis, with the support of Alexander Sgobbi Music (piano), Marco Musso's voice and the artistic coordination of Andrea Cirillo. The evening will be broadcast delayed by RadioOfficina (www.radiofficina.it)
